This position is considered Hybrid with an expectation to be in the Rosemont, IL office 1-3 times a month for All Staff Meetings, trainings, and department meetings. The compensation for this role will be based on experience within the given range on the job posting.

SUMMARY

AANA is making a significant investment in improving our ability to serve our members, this includes modernizing our member (customer) management tool by implementing Salesforce. We are seeking an experienced, Salesforce certified, Salesforce Business Analyst & Administrator to perform business analysis, support data migration, establish best practices, guidelines, policies and training materials for the Salesforce application.
The Salesforce Business Analyst & Administrator is responsible for, and must collaborate with key department staff, the overall configuration of the Salesforce, user permissions, user training, and release management. The Salesforce Business Analyst & Administrator is the bridge between business and technology and ensures AANA is leveraging Salesforce as optimally as possible.
The Salesforce Business Analyst & Administrator will collaborate with and support the Systems and Data Governance Steering Committee as needed. This role will be reporting to Membership and IT leadership.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 3+ years experience in a Salesforce Business Analysis and Delivery role
  • Experience in migrating from legacy systems to Salesforce
  • Experience preparing for and delivering Salesforce training to staff
  • Experience documenting configurations, workflows, impact analysis, and other materials supporting the administration of Salesforce
  • Proficiency in Salesforce product offerings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to serve as a liaison between business users, vendors and technical teams
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to prepare for and deliver training in a live or recorded setting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and ability to work in Agile, Waterfalll or Hybrid
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Planner, Jira and Confluence, Visio or LucidChart
  • Proficient with wireframe and prototype tools such as Balsamiq, Figma, Penpot or Axure
  • Proficient with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Heidi, or DBeaver for querying and analyzing data; Microsoft Power BI or Grafana for data visualization and reporting

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
  • Salesforce certifications required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Performs primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to operate routine office equipment. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management.
