EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce administration, architecture, development, and management.
  • 12+ years in related function(s) required
  • 5-7 years leading through mentorship in related field required
  • 5-7 years driving thought leadership and innovation across products required
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a Salesforce CoE or similar function.
  • Experience working in an environment with multiple Salesforce instances, including multiple orgs on a single instance is a must
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, products, and best practices.
  • Technical and architecture Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Data Architect, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified System Architect) are required.
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

The Salesforce CoE (Center of Excellence) Lead is recognized organization-wide as a leader and subject matter expert. We are seeking an energetic, dynamic, and innovative leader and influencer, acting as an avid promoter of process improvement to enhance productivity and performance of the organization. This is a high-level technical leader recognized as an expert both internally and externally. This person will represent GM Financial in the broader community as a brand ambassador and maintain a strong network in the community. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, governance, and operational management of the Salesforce platform. This role will oversee the development and implementation of best practices, drive innovation, and ensure alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving successful Salesforce initiatives.
