POSITION SUMMARY:

Q2 Impact seeks a skilled Salesforce Configurer to join our team supporting the Department of State’s Bureau of Counterterrorism (CT). The Salesforce Configurer will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing Salesforce solutions—ensuring functionality, compliance, and user experience align with program and client requirements. This role will collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Data Scientists, and IT specialists to support PRISM, the core Salesforce-based platform for monitoring and managing security sector assistance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience configuring and customizing Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or custom solutions) in a federal or large organizational environment.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce declarative tools (Process Builder, Flow, Validation Rules, Page Layouts).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce governance, security, user management, and data modeling.
  • Experience working with reporting, dashboards, and integrating external analytics tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Knowledge of business process improvement, documentation, and requirements translation.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (required); additional Salesforce certifications are a plus.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance, Active SECRET clearance preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience supporting security sector assistance, government, or international development programs.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional project teams.
  • Working knowledge of PRISM, Conga Composer, Conga Grid, and federal IT standards is highly desirable.
  • Experience with data migration, user training, and process automation.

Responsibilities
  • Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, workflows, approval processes, and automation to meet diverse project and client requirements.
  • Support the integration of third-party tools and datasets into Salesforce—enabling advanced analytics, automated reporting, and seamless data flow across Tableau, Conga Composer, Conga Grid, and other platforms.
  • Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders and translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions, supporting agile project delivery.
  • Manage user permissions, roles, profiles, record types, and security settings, ensuring compliance with Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) data and federal cybersecurity standards.
  • Assist in data migration, cleansing, and maintenance, utilizing Salesforce Data Loader or similar tools to ensure data integrity and operational excellence.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and configuration logs to support audit readiness, system training, and knowledge transfer.
  • Provide day-to-day configuration support, troubleshooting, and enhancements—responding to change requests, system bugs, and evolving program needs.
  • Participate in Agile sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment with team priorities and delivery milestones.
