Description
Your new roleAs the Salesforce Deployment & Environment Coordinator / Engineer, you will work closely with the Release & Environment Manager, DevOps teams, Salesforce Developers, Architects, Testers and business stakeholders to ensure secure, predictable and low-risk deployments across multiple environments.Key responsibilities include:Planning, coordinating and executing Salesforce deployments across Dev, SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod and Production environments.
Supporting BAU and project releases, including hotfixes and emergency changes.
Coordinating post-deployment validation and smoke testing activities.
Supporting rollback and remediation activities where required.
Managing CAB submissions, deployment approvals and release documentation.
Ensuring deployments comply with security, architecture and governance standards.
Communicating deployment schedules, outages and risks to stakeholders
Coordinating with Salesforce Developers, QA/Test teams, Integration teams and business SMEs.
Ensuring consistency of code, metadata, configurations and platform settings across environments.
Supporting branching strategy adherence across feature, release, hotfix and main branches.
Assisting with deployment troubleshooting, pipeline failures and pull request coordination.
Working within Agile delivery environments and participating in Jira-based Scrum ceremonies.
Managing Salesforce environments across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud and Education Cloud.
Coordinating sandbox creation, refreshes and data masking activities.
Ensuring environments are release-ready, including data, integrations, configurations and user access.
Maintaining environment usage plans and resolving environment conflicts.
Managing deployment permissions and access controls.
Acting as a technical point of contact for deployment and environment-related queries.
Validating environment configuration alignment between lower environments and production.
Participating in defect triage activities, providing deployment and environment expertise.
