JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer for a 6-month onsite contract position in Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for customizing and enhancing Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components, as well as integrating Salesforce with other internal and external systems.
This role requires a hands-on developer who can work closely with business analysts, end users, and other developers to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions that meet business needs.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Lightning Component Framework.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security, sharing models, and governor limits.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce best practices and development standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II Certification.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or Service Cloud is a plus.
  • Prior experience in state or public sector projects is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Customize Salesforce standard objects and develop new custom objects as needed.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware tools.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, and testing.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Salesforce platform.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the Salesforce environment.
  • Maintain documentation of all customizations, integrations, and processes.
