POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible for working with all areas of MOHELA to analyze Salesforce application needs/problems and provide solutions thru requirement analysis, system design and review, coding, testing and implementation.  Maintains a high degree of self-sufficiency on tasks with minimal oversight required.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   1. Application Design & Development – Research, design, and develop Salesforce components to store, display, and process data using Apex, SOQL, SOSL, JavaScript, and other development tools as recommended by the organization. This includes interviewing users to identify the scope of the applications, documenting and flowcharting, integrating applications into Salesforce, testing the product before implementation, and writing necessary procedures and documentation. Participates in code reviews to ensure quality standards. 2. Application Maintenance & Troubleshooting – Monitor Salesforce system status and perform necessary administrative configurations to achieve best response time and reduce or eliminate unnecessary or accidental business outages. Respond to and resolve issues that arise with Salesforce by researching the request, estimating time to complete, changing the necessary code, testing, and implementing. 3. Information Security and Applications System Review – Work with IT information security and MOHELA’s management team to understand information security requirements and follow industry best practices to safeguard Non-Public Information entrusted to IT. Review applications and operational deployments to identity system security vulnerabilities and present ideas on system improvements. 4. System Integration – Assist in integrating custom MOHELA applications with Salesforce. Help determine the overall integration strategy and implement technologies as needed to support connecting custom applications to the Salesforce organizations. Assist in response to and resolve issues that arise with integrations by researching the request, estimating time to complete, changing the necessary code, testing, and implementing as needed. 5. Project Management - Develop necessary project plans to ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned projects. This includes providing time estimates, tracking statistical data, performing research, outlining project tasks and developing necessary management reporting. 6. Communications - Provide regular and timely project status updates to management. Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders.  Effectively communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences.  7. Cross Training - Participate in cross training to ensure departmental goals and objectives are completed. This includes providing training to other IT staff members on Salesforce development and processes and participating in training as needed. 8. Skill Development - Remain current on the Salesforce platform, development tools, standards and processes, data transmission standards and practices available in the industry to take advantage of leading edge technology. Attend training courses, seminars and conferences designed to build knowledge of the same. 9. Other Job Related Duties as Assigned - Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or division management.     MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems * 5+ years software engineering experience * 3-5 years in Salesforce development using Apex, SOQL, and SOSL * Experience in Service Cloud, custom REST API development, and unit and API testing  * Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality * Prior experience working within the CAMP system required   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Experience with LWCs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SAQL, Einstein Analytics, and Government Cloud
