Description

Development and Implementation of Salesforce Enhancements GPS CRM Backlog
Background and Justification
The GPS department is undertaking strategic initiatives involving the enhancement of CRM systems to better support third-party resource management and internal operations. Salesforce is the core technology platform, with integration needs spanning SAP, Convergence, LFM, and other enterprise systems.
The team has identified a series of high-priority fixes, improvement opportunities, and changes to existing Salesforce modules, including IDD, Agreements, Opportunities, and Dashboards. These demands aim to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and the users experience. In addition, several business process activities are implemented a stand-alone form in the client´s Salesforce instance. These are not properly integrated, and not enabling an appropriate digitalized process flow.
The current backlog reflects evolving business needs and feedback from internal stakeholders, including updates to shared mailboxes, notification templates, and reporting tools. Addressing these items is critical to maintaining system reliability and supporting institutional due diligence processes.
Objectives
To onboard a Salesforce Developer with proven experience in system integrations, API development, and platform customization, who will work alongside internal teams to accelerate the delivery of CRM enhancements and remediate critical system components.
1. Scope of Services

The developer will:

  • Develop and customize Salesforce CRM components.

Some examples include:
o Resolve critical fixes affecting dashboard views and shared mailbox configurations.
o Implement improvements to templates, reports, and user interface components.

o Enhance data integrity and reduce manual intervention through automation.

  • Design and implement integrations with other applications, such as with SAP, Convergence, LFM, and other platforms using APIs
  • Improve user experience and system usability across modules.
  • Collaborate with internal architects and business analysts to define technical solutions.

  • Assistance in completing deployment readiness and execution, including providing documentation for compliance with all infrastructure, security, and governance requirements.
  • Resolution of issues identified during testing and deployment, as well as any reported by the team.

Important Considerations:

  • A strategy must be established to ensure that the current version of the system is not negatively impacted when implementing the new changes.
  • The design and development adheres to industry quality controls that consider optional product performance and adhere to SDLC standards and best practices. The development code will need to clear industry standard code quality checks and security scans, as required by internal IT guidelines.
