The Salesforce Developer at Joyce University will design, develop, and implement customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions across departments. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, develop scalable applications, and enhance system functionality. This role involves coding, testing, and deploying Salesforce applications, with a focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as an internal expert and product owner of the Education Cloud platform during implementation and post-implementation.
  • Build and optimize workflows, automate tasks, and ensure scalability of department’s processes within the Salesforce platform.
  • Participate in technical requirements gathering sessions, technical design sessions and write technical design documents
  • Participate in storyboarding and overall solution design. Recommend alternate approaches, define technical impacts, and provide sizing estimates.
  • Participate in the technical delivery of integrations and custom extensions.
  • Design and manage the execution of test plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered.
  • Be a trusted advisor with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Continually refine business acumen and establish domain / industry vertical expertise.
  • Manage relationship with Salesforce technical and account support.
  • Follow an iterative software development methodology and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and support.
  • Articulate technical strategy and project status to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained and change control processes are followed under the direction of Collegis, third-party IT support.
  • Lead out in proposing and scoping artificial intelligence solutions available and applicable to the school’s operations.
