Kentro is hiring an experienced Salesforce Developer to provide technical expertise and support for our client’s Salesforce environment. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality development within an Agile framework to ensure the platform’s stability and ongoing improvement. The developer will primarily address maintenance requests, bug fixes, and O&M enhancements, while also contributing to new development initiatives as team capacity allows.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, supporting enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce configuration.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and prior experience working in Agile teams.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Prior federal government project experience
  • Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS)

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day Salesforce development support, including resolution of maintenance requests and bug fixes.
  • Implement enhancements to existing functionality in alignment with client requirements and best practices.
  • Participate as a member of an Agile Scrum team, attending stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and other developers to refine user stories, ensure quality, and deliver on sprint commitments.
  • Support integration efforts with third-party systems as needed.
  • Maintain technical documentation in accordance with client standards.
  • Assist with occasional new development projects, depending on team capacity and client priorities.
    Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.
