We have an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Developer to join us here at the RSPCA to support the continuous improvement of our operational systems. This enables our National Control Centre to receive, manage and task over 1M Animal Welfare concerns a year from the General Public to our field-based Inspectors. To deliver this we make use of cutting edge Salesforce technologies such as Service Cloud, Field Service and Salesforce Maps. We are now looking to incorporate additional complementary technologies to support our digital transformation roadmap.
Here’s some of the key work that you will be doing…

Working within an excellent Salesforce delivery team responsible for solution development, integrations, upgrades and new releases. Where you will be responsible for -

  • Promoting and providing a no-code/low-code approach to solutions wherever possible .
  • Ensuring that where code is required that it is written to a best practice approach, is tested and is fit for purpose.
  • Evaluating requirements, identifying solutions and recommending options.

What we are looking for in you…

  • Degree educated in Computing, Data Science or Mathematics or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years working as a Salesforce developer.
  • Salesforce administration and development experience with appropriate certifications (such as ADM-201 and DEV-401).
  • Experience of developing solutions in Apex, Lightning Components & Salesforce Flow.
  • Experience in Salesforce Service Cloud is essential.
  • Understanding of Salesforce Architecture and APIs.
  • Release management and CI/CD best practices and tooling.
  • Further experience in Sales Cloud, Field Service and Experience Cloud are desirable.
