REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 - 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer (certification preferred).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and API integrations.
  • Experience with HTML, XML, Flex, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, and REST/SOAP-based web services.
  • Experience in moving code from lower sandboxes to production environments and resolving deployment issues.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, capable of identifying and resolving performance and integration issues.
  • Ability to improve underperforming processes and make existing code more efficient.
  • A collaborative mindset, capable of working in a small team and mentoring junior staff.
  • Active in the Salesforce community with relevant Trailhead and Super Badges.
  • Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

As we continue to expand our market share in the rapidly emerging Employee Experience platform category, we are looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our Business Applications Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving our Salesforce platform, ensuring seamless integrations, and optimizing processes to enhance user experience and efficiency.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop Apex (classes, triggers, and unit tests), Lightning Components, Pages, and Visualforce.
  • Improve and maintain integrations with tools such as Zoominfo, HubSpot, Planhat, Kantata, Gong, NetSuite, and ServiceNow (via standard connections or API).
  • Analyze and troubleshoot Salesforce issues or performance challenges, recommending and implementing process improvements.
  • Continuously enhance Salesforce processes based on best practices and business requirements.
  • Adhere to Salesforce development best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development.
  • Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy updates to existing applications and code.
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce Administrator to validate business requirements and considerations (security, scalability, limits).
  • Support the Salesforce Administrator with high-complexity support tickets.
  • Assist with general Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to) Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, apps, actions, dashboards, and reports (especially during high-volume periods or PTO cover).
  • Maintain detailed documentation of technical specifications and development work.
  • Work closely with the Senior Business Systems and Process Manager to support the development of a Salesforce strategy.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders regarding project scope and progress.
