DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

This is a high-impact position responsible for leading the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions across the organization. The Salesforce Development Leader will work closely with various departments to ensure seamless integration and functionality of Salesforce, supporting the company’s strategic goals.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale Salesforce development projects and working with complex Salesforce environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP development and configuration task estimation.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce and designing scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading transformational change within Salesforce environments.
  • Expertise in the most common Salesforce cloud solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Commerce Cloud.
  • These skills are typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; combined with 7-10 years of experinece in Salesforce development, architecture, or similar roles. In lieu of degree we would consider candidates with 15 years of direct Salesforce experience.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Process Improvement:

  • Lead initiatives to streamline Salesforce development processes, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall business strategy.
  • Develop and implement best practices for Salesforce development workflows, enhancing operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize Salesforce solutions and reduce costs.

Technology and Tools Management:

  • Manage and implement Salesforce development tools and technologies.
  • Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other business systems, such as SAP ERP, SAP cFIN, and other systems.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all integrated systems.
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient Salesforce architecture.
  • Expertise in the most common Salesforce cloud solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Commerce Cloud.

Project Leadership:

  • Drive and guide technical decision-making on Salesforce development projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement Salesforce development strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure successful project outcomes.

Data Governance and Compliance:

  • Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure Salesforce development processes meet compliance standards.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Help create a Salesforce development center of excellence.
  • Mentor and guide a team of Salesforce developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Coordinate training programs for team members and other stakeholders to enhance Salesforce development capabilities.
