Role Overview: The Salesforce Engineer will be instrumental in helping our operational teams scale and enhancing internal-facing tools. You will take ownership of the technical design, architecture, implementation, and delivery of automation solutions for internal users. The ideal candidate has strong experience with CRMs, particularly Salesforce, and is well-versed in best practices and technologies that streamline processes and increase efficiency. You thrive in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams. You are adaptable, open to feedback, and focused on delivering high-quality solutions quickly, using user insights to drive data-informed decisions. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand end-user processes and create effective automation solutions within operational systems. Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using Salesforce configuration, Apex, and Lightning components to automate processes and improve efficiency. Develop custom automations for various operational tasks using programming languages such as Shell scripts, Python, and JavaScript. Integrate Salesforce with external systems and tools using APIs and integration platforms to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability. Perform thorough testing and validation of automation solutions to ensure reliability, accuracy, and alignment with business requirements. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing automation solutions, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance as needed. Work with stakeholders to prioritize automation initiatives, communicate progress, and present well-thought-out approaches and technical trade-offs. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in automation and Salesforce development, applying new insights to drive continuous improvement. Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and skill development, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. Must-Have Qualifications: Salesforce Expertise: Over 2 - 4 years of experience as a Salesforce developer or administrator, with proficiency in configuration, Apex development, and Lightning components. Programming & Automation: Strong skills in Shell scripts, Python, and JavaScript, with experience building automation solutions. Integration Experience: Familiarity with integration tools and platforms such as Segment, HubSpot, or similar. Problem-Solving & Solution Design: Proven ability to understand complex business requirements and independently design efficient, streamlined workflows; strong analytical and detail-oriented approach. Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functional teams. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of front-end performance, scalability, and security. Adaptability & Growth Mindset: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. Industry Experience (Optional): Experience in the healthtech startup ecosystem and a passion for creating exceptional consumer experiences in healthcare or healthtech.
