On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Salesforce Engineering Developer (Marketing Cloud) for a 2-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3-4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SALESFORCE ENGINEERING DEVELOPER (MARKETING CLOUD) - JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Salesforce Engineer with proven expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to join the Client Primacy and Personalization project. This large-scale enterprise-wide initiative aims to accelerate personalization capabilities across the marketing stack, focusing on targeted propensity-driven lists, marketing journeys, and sales conversion funnels.

SALESFORCE ENGINEERING DEVELOPER (MARKETING CLOUD) - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • 10+ years of development experience.
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience including experience with Salesforce development tools (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components) and Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • 2+ years’ experience with Marketing Cloud including experience with Marketing Cloud Studios and Builders, AMPscript, SQL, and automation workflows.
  • Recent hands-on experience with data modeling, segmentation, and customer journey orchestration.
  • Recent hands-on experience with integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications and data sources.

SALESFORCE ENGINEERING DEVELOPER (MARKETING CLOUD) – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist and/or Developer certification.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools for Salesforce (Gearset, Copado, etc.).
  • Experience in marketing automation or CRM development in a large-scale environment.
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and deploy solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain AMPscript, SQL queries, and server-side JavaScript for dynamic, personalized marketing content.
  • Configure data extensions, automation workflows, and segmentation for targeted campaigns.
  • Integrate Marketing Cloud with core Salesforce CRM and third-party systems for synchronized customer data.
  • Build APIs and integrations to exchange data between Salesforce clouds, marketing platforms, and enterprise systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy, synchronization, and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Follow Salesforce development best practices (naming conventions, code reviews, documentation).
