REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of people leadership experience formally managing direct reports and a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing a team of engineers with diverse backgrounds and varying experience levels.
  • 10+ years of experience with Salesforce Architecture (Development & Admin), in-house experience a plus.
  • 3+ years leading Development and Admin projects within the Salesforce ecosystem, specifically using Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Problem-solving and project management skills, specifically the ability to estimate scope, break up problems into deliverable chunks, and pivot when requirements change.
  • Demonstrated success in working cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and similar teams.
  • Skilled at communicating technical detail to various audiences.
  • Proven experience with contract negotiations and vendor relationship management.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Salesforce Engineering Manager focusing on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, you will oversee and drive the technical strategy and implementation of Salesforce solutions to support our organization’s other Software Engineering teams, Marketing, and Sales. Your role will encompass project management, system integration/engineering/architecture, team leadership, and ensuring adherence to best practices.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Be both a strategic technical leader and a thoughtful people manager.
  • Collaborate with business and tech-focused teams and individuals to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Mentor individual team members to understand each individual’s progress, knowledge gaps, and motivators to grow their skills while building trust.
  • Guide the processes, practices, and systems that give employees the tools and empower them to make decisions independently to remove roadblocks proactively.
  • Work with and through your team to properly assess the size and complexity of new initiatives to make realistic commitments.
  • Strike the balance between day-to-day Admin and strategic architectural/development initiatives.
  • Work with business leadership to establish a Salesforce roadmap that supports our strategy and initiatives
