About the role We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Salesforce Functional Lead / Business Systems Analyst to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce solutions across our organization. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that Salesforce capabilities align with business goals and deliver measurable value. In this role, you will: • Single point of contact for Business/Product Owner • Develop detailed Level 3 process maps for each business function • Document detailed business stories (business requirements in form of user stories) including Acceptance Criteria. • Handover the US to Technical SME for incorporation into design and build in Salesforce • Responsible for getting signoff for Groomed US for development • Responsible for getting signoff for completed US • Manage show and tell sessions with Business/PO and capture feedback. • User story/backlog to be prioritized and bucketed based on Business Team/PO. • Review Epic, US provided by Business/PO/ BA. • Work with technical managers, architects, and other stakeholders in gathering salesforce requirements and driving team to implement the salesforce functional solutions. • Responsible for preparing Groomed US for development. • Based on user story prioritization, initial analysis , user story to be groomed in abstraction with support of Architects, Tech Lead, QA etc • SPOC to Support teams which need input from Salesforce in terms of functional inputs/clarifications. • Support QA for test scripts, test scenarios etc. Support QA for functional validations post deployments, before demo etc. • Update Functional documents relevant for Salesforce documentation. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Bridgewater - NJ. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $83,000 – $152,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
