Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Email Developer to join our Marketing Technology team. This role will focus on building, testing, and deploying personalized, data-driven email campaigns that support our donor and advisor engagement strategies. The ideal candidate combines technical skills in SFMC and AMPscript with a passion for precision, data integrity, and donor experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and deploy responsive, accessible emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud using Content Builder, Email Studio, and Journey Builder.
  • Write and maintain AMPscript, personalization strings, and dynamic content rules to tailor communications to individual donors and advisors.
  • Collaborate with marketing partners to translate business requirements into data-driven, automated campaigns.
  • Lead and optimize data extensions, send classifications, and subscriber attributes for targeting and personalization.
  • Ensure email quality and deliverability through rigorous testing (QA, Litmus/Email on Acid) and adherence to compliance standards (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA).
  • Work with the Martech team on automation processes in Automation Studio and basic SQL queries for segmentation.
  • Document campaign processes, templates, and standard methodologies to support scalability.
  • Partner with IT and Salesforce CRM teams on data integration projects and troubleshooting.
