Job Title: Salesforce Product Owner
Location: Remote (Work from Home – NC, USA)
Duration: 7+ Months | Contract-to-Hire

POSITION OVERVIEW

Lincoln Financial Group is seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Product Owner to join its Customer Experience Center of Excellence. In this role, you will work closely with the Salesforce Product Manager, Agile teams, and stakeholders to shape and execute on the Salesforce strategy and roadmap. The ideal candidate has deep Salesforce CRM knowledge, strong product management experience, and a background in business analysis or project management within an Agile environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of related experience in lieu of degree.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, or related product-focused roles within a development team.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce CRM (Salesforce Certified Admin preferred).
  • Experience working with Agile/SAFe methodologies.
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute Salesforce product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with Salesforce Product Manager and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Salesforce CRM technical capabilities and engage in discussions around technical integrations and product features.
  • Translate business vision into actionable user stories, epics, and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with other Salesforce Product Owners to manage and prioritize backlog items.
  • Propose and assess solutions for complex business needs using Salesforce capabilities.
  • Support stakeholder alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and clarify requirements for development teams.
  • Use data to evaluate and influence product adoption, ROI, and key objectives.
  • Participate in solution evaluation, gap analysis, and process optimization.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stay current with state/federal regulations, industry trends, and internal policies.
  • Contribute to team improvement by offering suggestions, learning new skills, and adapting to changes.
