JOB SUMMARY

The Salesforce QA Analyst is an instrumental member of the CRM centralized team, helping to ensure that a solution is fit for end user’s needs. QA Analysts work closely with the entire project team to review the overall functional and non-functional requirements, while keeping a user’s perspective in mind. Activities in this role will include analyzing non-functional requirements and technical designs, translating functional requirements into test cases, and identifying defects and driving them to resolution. Ideally, candidates will possess a drive for thinking creatively to resolve complex problems and enjoy contributing to solutions regardless of their functional role within a project team. A good Salesforce QA Analyst is willing to go the distance at trying to break the system. We are looking for someone who is self-disciplined, can manage their own work, loves to find ways to break things, computer systems, is a great communicator, great at documenting, is systematized, organized, and a team player.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with a large Salesforce org.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to think outside the box.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Experience with test automation tools is a plus.
  • Interest in taking ownership on products and projects.
  • Flexibility to meet continuously changing priorities and challenges.
  • Needs to possess excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and stay calm under pressure.
  • Interest in studying and learning new things.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Be independent, self-driven and naturally curious.

  • May require up to 20% travel

Responsibilities
  • Design test processes and procedures used to ensure that software operates within defined requirements.
  • Perform unit, functional, smoke, integrations and regression testing
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Look at how to improve and scale the QA process with automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing.
  • In depth functional testing - Must be able to evaluate functional stability to ensure business requirements are being met and are “fit-for-purpose” through end to end functional testing.
  • Work closely with software developers and the CRM Team to resolve issues.
  • Clearly communicate any obstacles to raise awareness and avoid project impediments and overall project timeline disruption.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner, Business Analysts, Solution Architects and Developers on tasks related to the planning, testing and coordination of release activities.
  • Participate in user story creation process through dissection of high-level requirements during team review sessions.
