JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce QA Engineer to join our QA team and ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce applications and integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom components built on the Force.com platform.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 10+ years of experience in Software QA, with at least 2–3 years in Salesforce testing.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, standard/custom objects, and workflows.
  • Experience testing Salesforce Lightning components, Visualforce pages, and APIs.
  • Knowledge of SOQL, Salesforce sandbox environments, and deployment processes.
  • Proficiency in using tools like TestRail, JIRA, Postman, or REST clients.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with test automation tools for Salesforce (e.g., Provar, Selenium, TestComplete).
  • Salesforce certification(s) such as Salesforce Administrator, App Builder, or Platform Developer I.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps processes.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Responsibilities
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing for Salesforce features and customizations.
  • Validate Apex classes, triggers, workflows, process builders, and Lightning components.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to resolve issues and ensure high-quality releases.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Automate test cases using Selenium, Provar, or other relevant Salesforce testing tools (optional but preferred).
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
