Responsibilities

The Salesforce Solution Architecture leads the project team to advise, innovate and transform the IT Landscape of the client. He/She takes overall accountability for solutioning and delivery of one or more Salesforce projects and programs at a client. Responsible for supporting the end-to-end sales cycle including the origination of opportunities, development of proposals, and client presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and sustain trusted advisor relationship with clients, drive proposals and shape clients’ business and IT agenda.
  • Grow the cloud (SaaS) advisory business, develop market leading capabilities and provide thought leadership in technology consulting.
  • Evaluate legacy applications, with the intent to propose a cloud enabled application stack that leverages the Force.com platform.
  • Build out Salesforce solutions - Articulate common data architecture, integration with external solutions, presentation layer and workflow.
  • Provide program cost estimation and monitor/revalidate the estimates at key transition points in the development lifecycle.
  • Lead one or more project teams to deliver solutions for the Salesforce.com platform to meet business requirements and realize business value.
  • Accountable for mobilizing the delivery team, identifying appropriate resources and rolling them on to the engagement.
  • Accountable for ensuring that the projects or programs adhere to delivery best practices and principles, manage scope and drive effective change control.
  • Provide standardized status reports, track/manage financials, manage risks and issues, communicating across the leadership team, and escalating where necessary.
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, product roadmaps and applications available from 3rd parties on the Salesforce AppExchange.
