The Opportunity As a Salesforce Strategist, you’ll be at the intersection of consulting strategy, client growth, and Salesforce solutioning. You’ll lead enterprise engagements across multiple Salesforce clouds, focusing on helping clients move from projects to long-term programs. You’ll define transformation roadmaps, advise senior stakeholders, and identify opportunities to expand Horizontal’s footprint through strategic value realization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex business problems, building trusted relationships, and translating strategy into scalable Salesforce solutions that drive measurable outcomes. What You’ll Do 1. Strategic Consulting & Roadmap Delivery Lead discovery and visioning workshops to assess current-state processes, pain points, and desired future-state experiences. Develop actionable Salesforce roadmaps and capability models aligned to the client’s business strategy. Create business cases, process blueprints, and prioritization frameworks that connect transformation goals with measurable outcomes. Partner with Horizontal’s architects and data specialists to define the technical enablers of strategic recommendations. Guide clients through best practices in CRM maturity, customer data strategy, and multi-cloud enablement. 2. Account Growth & Program Expansion Serve as the strategic advisor and relationship owner for key enterprise accounts — driving value realization and identifying expansion opportunities. Shape and grow existing projects into multi-phase, cross-cloud programs of work through continuous consulting and results-based storytelling. Partner with Sales Directors to craft and position solution proposals, statements of work, and renewal strategies. Participate in pre-sales pursuits, demonstrating Horizontal’s thought leadership and delivery excellence across Salesforce. Proactively identify unmet needs, emerging use cases, and opportunities for new initiatives or platform adoption. 3. Team & Practice Enablement Mentor consultants and functional leads in discovery, stakeholder engagement, and solution definition. Contribute to practice development by refining frameworks, reusable assets, and delivery methodologies. Support internal enablement on Salesforce innovations, industry trends, and cross-cloud use cases. Who You Are A strategic thinker and relationship builder with deep understanding of CRM-enabled business transformation. Confident working with C-level executives, able to bridge business vision and technology capabilities. Comfortable operating across strategy, solutioning, and delivery oversight. Proactive, entrepreneurial, and energized by building lasting client partnerships. Skilled at simplifying complexity — distilling insights into clear, actionable recommendations. What You Bring 8+ years in Salesforce or digital consulting, with a blend of functional and strategic experience across Sales, Service, Experience, and Data Cloud. Proven success in growing accounts and developing long-term, multi-cloud Salesforce programs. Strong track record in delivering strategic consulting artifacts such as roadmaps, capability assessments, and transformation blueprints. Salesforce certifications across core clouds (Consultant or Architect level preferred). Experience engaging senior stakeholders and leading large cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
