Description
Lead the end-to-end technical design and delivery of Salesforce solutions, including custom development, integrations, and platform configurations. Architect scalable solutions across Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.) aligned with best practices. Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models, and solution designs. Develop and review Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and Flows. Own the technical governance of the Salesforce org — managing code quality, release management, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD). Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance. Design and implement integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms (e.g., Jitterbit), and platform events. Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to align technical solutions with business goals. Manage and mitigate technical risks, proactively identifying issues and recommending solutions. Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and emerging best practices, and assess their impact on the platform. Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory requirements within the Salesforce environment. Minimum Qualifications: 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or senior role. Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs. Strong experience with Salesforce declarative tools — Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, and Custom Metadata. Proven experience designing and building integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven architecture. Solid understanding of Salesforce data modelling, security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules), and governor limits. Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Salesforce DX, Git, Copado, Gearset, or similar). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies. Certifications (Required / Preferred) Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I Preferred: Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect Required Skills: Strong leadership and team mentoring capabilities. Excellent communication skills — able to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment. Preferable Skills: Experience in large-scale Salesforce org transformations or migrations. Proficiency with dbt for data transformation and modelling. Hands-on experience with data orchestration and data pipeline tools. Experience with Tableau for data visualisation and reporting.
