Job Title: Salesperson
Location: North Bristol – Office-based
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Salary/Package: £35,000–£45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + uncapped commission
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving LivGreen’s strategic growth. You’ll be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing long-term relationships with clients, and working cross-functionally to bring new projects to life.
This role suits someone confident, commercially minded, and experienced in complex sales cycles, ideally within construction, energy, or social housing sectors. You’ll be comfortable presenting at a senior level, handling negotiations, and managing a sales pipeline from first contact through to contract signing.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven track record in a business development or consultative sales role
  • Experience in the construction, sustainability, energy efficiency, or housing sector preferred
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to build value-based proposals
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload
  • Confident using CRM systems (HubSpot desirable) and Microsoft Office tools
  • Full UK driving licence
Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across retrofit and energy efficiency markets
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in Housing Associations and Local Authorities
  • Lead client meetings (virtual and in-person), present LivGreen’s service offering, and shape tailored solutions
  • Respond to tenders and prepare commercial proposals in collaboration with the wider team
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline in HubSpot CRM and report on progress against targets
  • Work closely with technical teams and field consultants to ensure smooth handover from sales to delivery
  • Stay informed on sector changes, funding streams, and policy developments relevant to our services
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of our business development strategy and market presence
