Job Summary: The Inground Pools Sales Associate is responsible for generating sales and providing exceptional customer service to clients interested in installing inground and onground pools. This role involves understanding customer needs, presenting product options, and guiding clients through the purchasing process, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary preferred).
- Previous sales experience.
- Experience in the pool & spa industry (preferred)
- Experience with prospecting customers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to understand and explain technical product details.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assess customer needs and provide recommendations based on their preferences and budget.
- Present and explain various Inground Pool options, including designs, materials, and features.
- Prepare and present detailed quotes and proposals to clients.
- Follow up with potential customers to answer questions, address concerns, and close sales.
- Handle all incoming leads in a timely manner.
- Preparing & processing the required paperwork for Pool contracts according to prescribed procedures.
- Applying for municipal permits on behalf of the customer.
- Develop and maintain technical product and service knowledge to explain features to customers and after sales service.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inground pool products, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Educate customers about the benefits and features of different pool systems and related products.
- Coordinate with installation teams to ensure customer specifications are accurately communicated and met.
- Manage the sales process from initial inquiry to post-sale follow-up, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.
- Prepare and process sales contracts, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Conducting at least one field visit to each job site during the construction of any installed Pool for which they are to be paid a commission.
- Conducting or arranging a new pool owner’s product familiarization lesson within 5 days after completion of each installed pool.
- Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the installation process and post-installation period.
- Ensure customer concerns are resolved with urgency and good judgement.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions.
