Weed Man generates inbound leads through the web, word of mouth, and marketing campaigns. You will be responding to inbound leads, performing outbound calls during calling campaigns, and following up with customers on quotes and recommendations. Salespeople work alongside our Customer Service Representatives and Field Technicians to create a positive customer experience. Candidates that demonstrate leadership qualities and sales success can grow into supervisory positions. Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle inbound leads via phone and email with urgency and care
Establish rapport quickly with customers of a diverse range of personalities both in person and on the phone
Identify the lawn care goals and needs of potential customers by asking questions about the state of their lawn
Offer Weed Man’s basic program of season long fertilization, weed control, and grub protection as an entry point
Cater the recommendation of add-on services to new and existing customers based on their specific lawn care needs and seasonality of our offerings
Confidently employ active listening and negotiation skills to finalize a sale
Overcome objections pertaining to sale outcomes using patience, understanding, and top-notch problem-solving skills
Demonstrate resourcefulness to locate the necessary information to provide a comprehensive quote via phone and email. (Example: measuring grass size via satellite images and checking our records for previous account orders)
Adapt to the changing seasonality of product and service offerings
Perform seasonal outbound calling for customer renewals, add-on services, retention, and our new brand: Mosquito Hero
Document communications/orders/cancelations/payments with accuracy in our proprietary Enterprise Management System
Learn, embrace, and promote our culture, brand, and services
Display a relentless pursuit of customer satisfaction and retention
Meet and exceed company targets for growth, renewal rates, and new customers Qualifications:
3+ years of business to consumer sales experience
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the service industry
Experience in sales through in-person, email, and phone communications
Renewal and retention of existing customers / book of business
Meeting inbound and outbound closing rates and sales targets
Experience maintaining customer communications in a Customer Relationship Management software
Successfully contributed to a sales team’s success with significant contribution or leadership
Competent and accurate with basic math to assist customers with pricing and quotes
Quick Learner
Experience in marketing/sales of a new product/service is an asset Additional Information:
Full time seasonal position from approximately March through November annually
Cover extended hours and some weekend days during seasonal peaks
The position will be mainly virtual/work from home after training

$18.50/hour guaranteed. Target hourly compensation with commission $19-30
