Position Summary The Day Services Manager is responsible for overseeing day program services that empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to make personal choices, participate meaningfully in their communities, and live with dignity in the most integrated settings appropriate to their needs. This role ensures safety, rights, and quality supports are consistently maintained. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Day Services Manager must be able to successfully and consistently perform the following duties: Promote and support individual choice and decision-making. Facilitate community participation for individuals in the most integrated setting appropriate. Maintain safety and uphold the rights of individuals served. Oversee all operational processes related to assigned programs. Select, supervise, and train program staff and volunteers. Communicate regularly with individuals and their families/guardians. Organize and lead regularly scheduled staff meetings. Manage administrative tasks such as data entry, invoices, reporting, and record-keeping. Ensure timely and accurate completion of incident, injury, and other required reports. Requirements Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements: High School Diploma or GED (required) Minimum of 5 years experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (required) Valid Colorado Driver’s License and proof of current automobile insurance Ability to pass a criminal background check that meets state requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask, organize, and manage time effectively Passion for advocacy, inclusion, and community engagement Why Join Starpoint?
