Description
We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth salon experience. The Salon Receptionist will handle appointments, inquiries, and payments, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour. This position is considered entry level. Full-time Schedule: Monday: 7:45am-3:00pm Tuesday: 8:45am-4:00pm Wednesday: off Thursday: off Friday: 7:45am-4:00pm Saturday: 8:45am-5:00pm Sunday: 8:45am-4:00pm Additional flexibility required Key Responsibilities: Greet clients warmly and assist them with scheduling appointments, inquiries, and salon services. Manage phone calls, emails, and walk-ins, providing accurate information about salon services, pricing, and availability. Coordinate and confirm appointments, ensuring the salon schedule is optimized for efficiency. Process payments and maintain accurate records of sales and transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the reception area, retail display, promotional materials, and refreshments. Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, seeking timely resolution and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with salon staff to ensure a seamless and delightful customer experience. Upsell salon products and services to clients based on their needs and preferences. Standing, sitting, smiling and communicating for sustained periods of time. Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds. Movement with fingers, hands, wrists and arms. Ability to grasp and reach, sometimes above shoulder level. Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch. Experience with working in a luxury, upscale environment with strong hospitality focus preferred. Ability to multitask, works well under pressure, and able to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to work weekend day and be evening shift. Exceptional organizational, written and oral communication skills. Ability to problem-solve on the spot.
