We are a luxury hair salon based in Lewes near Brighton. Established for over 18 years, we are an Aveda and Loreal salon with a large and loyal clientele. We are currently looking for a part-time receptionist to join our lovely team.

Our reception position offers a interesting and varied role. Of course you will be responsible for managing appointments and helping the day run smoothly, but you will also be required to help manage and grow our social media, make content in the salon, you will be able to help with our marketing and salon growth, you can help develop and manage admin and stock systems, and after training you will be able to advise on haircare and services.
We like to look after our staff well and reward them in other ways too. Each month we add money to a ‘Fun Fund’ which will be used by our staff for everything from nights out to trips away. In October last year we took all our staff to Valencia for the weekend, all expenses paid. You will be able to earn commission on retail sales and we frequently run in-house competitions to win anything cash bonuses, extra holiday to restaurant vouchers.
This is a part-time position and we would like you to work every Monday and Friday and you also have the option to do a half day on Saturday.
Skills Required:
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must have excellent communication skills - written and verbal
Must have a smart appearance
Experience in a hair or beauty salon is preferred.
Must be able to work school holidays
Must be computer literate
Must have good attention to detail.
