Why This Role Matters The Salon Receptionist is the first point of contact for salon guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming, organized and professional experience. By coordinating appointments, supporting salon professionals and providing exceptional guest service, this position helps ensure every guest enjoys a seamless experience that reflects the hospitality standards of Heritage Hotels & Resorts. What You'll Do Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality. Schedule, confirm and manage salon appointments for hair and nail services. Answer guest questions regarding salon services, pricing, availability and promotions. Process guest check-ins, check-outs, payments and retail purchases. Support hairstylists and nail technicians by coordinating schedules and guest flow throughout the day. Maintain accurate guest records and appointment information. Promote salon services, retail products and special offerings. Maintain a clean, organized and inviting reception area. Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation. Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate. Previous experience in a salon, spa, hospitality, retail, front desk or customer service environment preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and demeanor. Experience with appointment scheduling systems, point-of-sale systems or reservation software preferred. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Google Workspace applications. Ability to handle cash and retail transactions accurately. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as business demands require.
