We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the day-to-day operations of the salon. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a salon or retail environment.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in retail sales, merchandising, and stocking is preferred.
  • Basic math skills are necessary for accurate transaction processing.
  • Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining a positive client relationship.
  • Supervising experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key.

Responsibilities

  • Manage appointment bookings and scheduling through our POS system.
  • Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Assist with merchandising and stocking of retail products, ensuring displays are attractive and well-organized.
  • Upsell services and retail products to enhance client experience and increase sales.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and perform basic math calculations for transactions.
  • Provide support to stylists as needed, including helping maintain a clean salon floor and stylist stations
