Overview Sign on Bonus $750 $100 after 30 days $200 after 60 days $450 after 90 days The Shelfer/Expeditor is responsible for keeping the kitchen organized, stocked, and running smoothly. This position ensures that all products are properly stored and rotated and also assists during service by coordinating food orders, checking plate quality and ensuring accurate and timely delivery to guests. ◊ Primary duties include coordinating the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining room. This position is responsible for accurate plating, timely order assembly, communication between kitchen staff and servers, and support of overall food service quality. This individual is expected to demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and guest-focused behavior that reflects GNCC brand values. Responsibilities Receive, unpack, and shelve food and beverage supply deliveries. ◊ Maintain proper rotation of stock (FIFO). Stock and restock line items according to specifications. ◊ Roll and polish silverware as needed. ◊ Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation; perform breakdown and cleanup duties at shift end. ◊ Assist at other kitchen stations when necessary. ◊ Keep storage areas, walk-ins, and shelves organized and clean. ◊ Communicate shortages, damages, or product needs to management. Expeditor Duties: ◊ Organize and prioritize food tickets during service. ◊ Organize plate pickup and maintain proper priority of orders to support timely service. ◊ Ensure accuracy, portioning, and presentation of all plates leaving the kitchen. ◊ Communicate guests’ requests, dietary needs, or special instructions between servers and kitchen staff. ◊ Monitor ticket times and alert management of any delays or backlogs. ◊ Assist with garnishing, final plate touches, and tray organization. ◊ Ensure food leaves the kitchen hot, fresh, and in a timely manner.
