The Café Supervisor provides quality customer service to Sam’s Place customers. They will lead the team through customer interactions and be responsible for equipping and overseeing all team members on the floor. The Café Supervisor will be trained to make café style drinks on the espresso bar and prepare and serve customer orders. They will become familiar with our Point of Sale and delivery systems. They will be tasked with training participants and volunteers in the Front of House and reporting participant progress to the Program Coordinator. They will also be tasked with working the food line in the kitchen if needed. They will be required to open and close the café, preparing the space at open and cleaning up the space at close. The Supervisor must be comfortable working with folks who have different learning abilities. As is the nature of the Sam’s Place Program, folks who are experiencing barriers to employment will be prominent members of the team in which the Supervisor will lead.
