This position will include lesson preparation, effective lesson presentation, and may be responsible for teaching more than one class as needed. This position works under the direction of a program administrator. The person in this role should have a basic understanding in teaching, learning, and working with youth. The work of the person in this role helps youth and young adults deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ and His restored gospel, qualify for the blessings of the temple, and prepare themselves, their families, and others for eternal life with their Father in Heaven.This is an entry level position.
Responsibilities
The substitute teacher will prepare and present lessons effectively and may teach multiple classes as needed. This role supports youth and young adults in their spiritual development.
