JOB DESCRIPTION:

INGOFLOOR, a local family-owned flooring store, is looking to fill the position of Sample Board Technician and Customer Service Agent.
This is a permanent, full-time position. Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
Activities include:
Overseeing Flooring Sample Program:
- Maintaining product sample catalog for wholesale clients
- Designing layouts and creating sample boards for new and existing products
- Physical creation of sample boards (pull tiles, cutting, placing, adhering, labelling, etc.)
- Dispatching samples for new and existing clients
- Working with remote sales agents on sample and product requests
Other tasks include:
- Answering phone calls
- Entering orders from phone and walk-in-traffic
- Providing stock checks and estimates
- Getting freight quotes and preparing shipping documents
- Occasionally pulling small orders if the warehouse is busy
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a passion for flooring, design and construction
- Be detail oriented
- Able to operate basic power and hand tools
- Able to work on computer
- Able to do simple math
