Description · Intake and process raw material, in-process and finished good samples for laboratory testing. · Assist lab administrator in drafting sample testing specifications in NAV in accordance with customer specifications and receiving certificates of analyses (CoAs). · Assign sample testing in accordance NAV specifications and customer provided specifications. · Manage/organize rush samples and communicate due dates with laboratory personnel. · Ensure samples are labelled and organized appropriately. · Dispose of testing samples once testing has been completed and released by laboratory management. · Arrange delivery of samples to 3rd party laboratories. · Manage TPT log. · Manage organoleptic library log. · Assist management and lab administrator with creating and reviewing in-house CoAs. · Assist lab administrator position as necessary. · Manage organoleptic library by coordinating additions/replacements with lab technician(s). · Full scope of position may not be included and additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary. Requirements · Associates degree or higher education in chemical or biological science. · 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting. · Ability to manage several concurrent projects and work under pressure while having attention to detail. · Working knowledge of Microsoft office/computer skills. Preferred qualifications: · 1-3 years of experience as a sample coordinator in a laboratory setting. · Bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological science.
