Description

* Management of samples from receiving, internal distribution through lab testing to dispatch dispositioning using database software and basic Microsoft programs such as MS Word and Excel. * Checking samples against sample requirement and raising any issues to Project team. * Ensure samples are managed within quality process and in compliance with according the UL Quality and accreditation process requirements. * Working with teams to ensure samples are ready and available for test start internal customers and stored in the correct location. * Communicating and guiding internal customers on sample return via phone and email. * Support laboratory, engineering and shipping/receiving teams. * May also be responsible for maintenance of the warehouse. * Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job. * Assist and trains staff as directed. * May assist leadership in the development of training as necessary. * May develop or assist in the creation of reports and metrics as necessary. * Maintain an organized, safe, clean and productive work area. * Conducts periodic inventories of sample storage areas. * Reports any lost, missing or damaged samples and assists in the research and resolution. * Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices. * Other duties as assigned.
