We’re on the hunt for a detail-driven and organised Sample Receipt Officer to join our Environmental Laboratory based at Perth Airport. This role plays a key part in supporting production activities and ensuring a smooth journey from sample arrival to client results. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be the first point of contact for incoming samples and will help keep operations running seamlessly. Your responsibilities will include (but aren’t limited to): Unpacking, sorting, and checking incoming samples for accuracy and condition Registering samples in our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Ensuring accurate and high-quality data entry Liaising directly with clients to resolve sample receipt or logistics queries Communicating with section heads about incoming workloads Preparing and dispatching bottle orders within required timeframes Sub-sampling and filtering samples as required Coordinating subcontracting of samples and organising freight Managing warehouse storage and compliant disposal of samples Investigating client and internal queries promptly Ensuring compliance with Quarantine Approved Premise requirements Supporting continuous improvement initiatives Promoting a safe working environment and reporting hazards immediately Assisting with additional duties to ensure smooth daily operations Qualifications About You We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and enjoys working in a dynamic team environment.
