Job Description To provide advising services for existing first and second year students including approving study plans and assisting with issues related to study plans and partner’s programs. The SPAC Officer will also advise third and fourth-year students and participate in SPAC’s transition to an advising center responsible for serving all Sampoerna University students. To maintain accurate student and program data (e.g. communication logs, degree audits, test requirements, etc.) as required by SPAC Manager, faculty, or partner to ensure effective program delivery. To work closely with academic staff to be able to maintain updated Degree Plans and to provide accurate academic counseling after enrollment to prepare students to successfully transfer internally or externally and to assist transfer-in students to continue their study at SU seamlessly. To assist with program design, to execute any programs created by the unit or as required by the university and to be able to provide reliable and accountable reports of the program. To support SPAC manager with daily operations and to assist and to participate in university functions and events that may be initiated by other units such as recruitments, admissions, student success, and faculty. Qualifications A bachelor degree graduate from related major Possesses at least 2 year of experience as student advisor in University level. Has experience with US based curriculum would be preferable. Applicants must have demonstrated excellent communication both spoken and written in English.
