Fanotech Manufacturing Corp., a Canadian leader in the manufacture of waste handling equipment is GROWING again!
We are currently hiring for a SANDBLASTER at our Huntsville Facility. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude and a great work ethic to join our team.

SKILLS:

• 1-2 years sandblasting experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
• Familiarity with hand tools used in sandblasting
• Be knowledgeable in all shop Safe Work Procedures

• Abrades surfaces of metal with blasting equipment to remove adhering sand, paint, grease, tar, rust and dirt to impart a specified finish
• Assist Paint Technician by preparing product for painting using proper techniques, equipment and materials
• Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment. Ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition within the area, reporting any concerns and maintenance services required
• Visual inspections and report any visible imperfections
• Ability to follow instructions
• Maintain and clean sandblast area as well the yard storage locations
• Comply with all safety standards in place
