We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sandblaster to join our powder coating team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces for coating by using abrasive blasting techniques to remove rust, paint, and other contaminants from metal surfaces.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Sandblaster, preferably in a powder coating or industrial setting.
• Familiarity with sandblasting equipment and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials as needed.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to follow them strictly.

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for powder coating application.
• Ensure all surfaces are free of rust, paint, and other impurities before the powder coating process begins.
• Select appropriate blasting materials and adjust equipment settings according to job specifications.
• Safely handle and operate sandblasting tools, equipment, and protective gear.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all blasting materials are properly stored.
• Perform regular equipment checks and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
