BaGet Stuffed is a small cafe located in nicolson street, it is a staple in the area and is extremely busy during lunch periods.
We are professional, courteous and fast paced, and are looking for a crew member to match that skill and be great at multi tasking.
Our work duties are shared amongst other crew members that are working with you, you can switch mid shift from sandwich maker to front of house.
front of house duties are:
- general house keeping, keeping customer area sanitised and clean, brushing and mopping.
- topping up on drinks, crisps and cakes
- taking customer orders, upselling to meal deals
- making teas/coffees
- preparing paninis/baguettes and wraps
As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a crucial role in preparing delicious sandwiches and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare sandwiches according to customer orders and established recipes
- Slice, chop, and assemble ingredients such as meats, cheeses, vegetables, and condiments
- Operate kitchen equipment including slicers, grills, and ovens
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen area, hygiene is crucial to us.
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the front of house team to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries
End of shift:
General housekeeping- brushing mopping dishes and replenishing stock.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a sandwich deli or food preparation is ESSENTIAL
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and willingness to adhere to them
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours
- must be fully flexible to work:
Mon-Fri between 12-5.
