Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Sandwich Hand at WHSmith, you’ll take pride in preparing fresh, high quality sandwiches and snacks while delivering friendly and efficient service. You’ll work quickly and accurately to meet customer needs and ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are consistently upheld.

YOU WILL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Preparing sandwiches, wraps, and other items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensuring all food is prepared and handled in line with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked food preparation area.
  • Serving customers efficiently and courteously.
  • Working as part of a team to meet daily service targets and standards.
  • Following all WHSmith policies and procedures.
