Company: Sabrosura Foods is one of the leading marketers of Hispanic products sold throughout the U.S. under the well-known brand names of El Viajero, Reynaldo’s, La Morenita, Caribe, and Bio Salud!. Sabrosura Foods is also one of the largest private label producers of Hispanic cheese in the U.S. Job Summary: This position is responsible for performing detailed, deep cleaning on production equipment and overall facility cleanliness. Using different types of chemicals and sanitation equipment such as Foamers, steam hoses, COP tanks and CIP systems. This position requires strict adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping, and personal conduct rules.     Job Responsibilities: * * Operate and certification for Forklift, pallet jack and walkie forklift  * Conduct CIP and COP tank verifications (i.e., Chemical concentrations, flow, time, and temperature) * Communicate any food safety related issues to supervisor or managers  * Observe facility and equipment conditions to ensure in good condition and in compliance * Perform and follow SSOP’s on production tools and equipment  * Document sanitation and production checks * Follow proper GMP’s, PPE’s and chemical handling practices   * Perform full tear-down of production equipment for sanitation purposes * Use foaming equipment and scrub facility equipment * Understand chemical usages and purposes  * Verify equipment cleanliness after cleaning practices  * Follow facility color coding program to cleaning methods  * Complete Master Sanitation Schedules on a timely matter  * Assist Line and Floor Sanitation Supervisors * All other duties as assigned   Education and Experience: * Sanitation experience in a food production environment * High School diploma or equivalent required   Required Skills/Abilities:  * Possess organizational, written, and verbal communication skills  * Ability to pay close attention to the details  * Capable of following directions given; consistency is crucial to the position  * Must have proficient manual dexterity to perform routine functions  * Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including prolonged standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive movements * Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to both hot and cold temperatures Physical Requirements:  * Standing 4-10 hours per day * Walking 4-10 hours per day * Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting * Able to lift/carry up to 40lbs. * Able to push/pull up to 60lbs.  2nd Shift Monday through Friday 3pm-11:30pm
