Apply Today!    Key Responsibilities: 1.       Waste Collection and Disposal: ·       Collect and dispose of waste from facilities within the park, including restaurants, retail stores, lodging, campgrounds, and public spaces. ·       Sort and separate recyclable materials to promote sustainable waste management practices. Collect and transport compost, organics, and recyclables from the property to facilities in Klamath Falls. ·       Operate and maintain waste collection equipment, such as trash compactors and recycling bins. 2.       Communication and Coordination: Supporting employee engagement campaigns to help reduce waste sent to the landfill ·       Collaborate with other park staff to coordinate cleaning schedules and address specific cleanliness requirements for events or special occasions. 3.       Employee and Visitor Engagement: ·       Provide information and guidance regarding waste disposal and recycling practices within the park. ·       Foster a positive and informative interaction with park guests, promoting a sense of environmental responsibility. Qualifications: ·       Strong communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license required ·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ·       Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.   Working Conditions: ·       This is a seasonal position - full-time employment during peak visitor season May-October. ·       Work hours may include weekends and holidays as needed. ·       The role involves outdoor work in various weather conditions     We maintain a drug-free workplace to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees.   Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status and all other status protected by law.
