Sanitation Maintenance Technician Company: Built Brands Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts (Friday – Monday) Location: [Insert Location] Department: Maintenance / Sanitation Position Summary Built Brands is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Maintenance Technician to support our sanitation and production teams. This role is responsible for assisting with equipment tear-down, preparing machinery for sanitation, supporting cleaning processes, and ensuring equipment is properly reassembled and production-ready. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and is committed to safety, quality, and efficiency. Schedule 4 x 10-hour shifts Friday through Monday Overtime as needed Key Responsibilities Assist with disassembly (tear-down) of production equipment prior to sanitation Prepare equipment and surrounding areas for proper cleaning and sanitation Support sanitation team with cleaning processes in compliance with food safety standards Inspect equipment components for wear, damage, or repair needs during tear-down Reassemble and set up equipment accurately to ensure production readiness Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks as assigned Maintain compliance with GMP, food safety, and company safety standards Document work performed and communicate any maintenance concerns to leadership Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in food manufacturing, sanitation, or maintenance preferred Mechanical aptitude with ability to use hand tools Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety protocols Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Comfortable working in wet, cold, or humid environments Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Preferred Skills Experience with food production equipment Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations Basic troubleshooting skills Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills Physical Requirements Ability to bend, lift, climb, and stand for extended periods Ability to work around cleaning chemicals Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Why Built Brands?
