Description
Title: Sanitation Manager Location: Provo, Utah Shift: Day Compensation: $65K - $75K Built Bar is looking for a Sanitation Manager with proven experience in sanitation, specifically with food manufacturing. Reporting to the Director of Quality, the Sanitation Manager assists with tasks related to sanitizing and cleaning equipment and the facility. Key responsibilities: Oversee the attendance and performance of each member of the sanitation department Provide training, development, disciplinary, and performance analysis of sanitation team members Establish timeline and processes for each piece of equipment being sanitized After production equipment is disassembled: clean, rinse, and sanitize all product contact machinery utilizing all required PPE equipment Manage all chemical and sanitation inventories; order product when necessary Reassemble production equipment after cleaning and sanitizing Chemically clean machinery while maintaining proper safety procedures Comply to all safety, SQF, and GMP practices Ability to monitor and coordinate with other teams; sanitize other areas as needed (fulfillment, kitting, office, etc. as assigned) Other duties as assigned Requirements: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) 5 years minimum of sanitation supervisory experience, preferably with food or manufacturing industry background Ability to operate standard sanitation equipment Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities Strong leadership skills; dependable, responsible, and organized a MUST Knowledge of GMP's, and Food Safety fundamentals is required
