Sanitation Site Manager
Sanitation Specialists is looking for Sanitation Site Manager to join our team. We are a steadily growing company that contracts with several food processing facilities across the country. We send our crews out after hours (graveyard shift) to make sure the machinery sanitized, and ready for the next days’ food production.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Work Experience: 5+ years of experience working as a Sanitation Supervisor or Manager in a food manufacturing environment
  • Bilingual (Conversational)- Spanish/English required
  • Experience with Production planning/scheduling preferred
  • Program management or QA Management experience preferred
  • Experience using a program similar to Redzone, Maximo, SafteyChain, etc. preferred
  • Technical Training or Knowledge: Fundamental knowledge of industrial sanitation theory, CIP methods, chemistry verification techniques, and ATP testing.
  • Professional Training or Knowledge: Intermediate knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the sanitary production or processing of food products.
  • Dependable, respectful, and motivated.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills needed to understand and explain concepts relating to essential job functions.
  • Proficient time management skills needed to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Thorough understanding of fundamental food safety standards, including GMP, SQF, BRC, HACCP, SSOPs, and quality control processes.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team with a positive attitude.
  • Coordinate sanitation activities with production, maintenance, and quality control management.
  • Supervise and coordinate all sanitation activities with assigned Supervisors.
  • Adhere to developed cleaning methods and procedures which are designed to eliminate operating problems, and improve sanitation efficiency.
  • Motivate, coach, and encourage staff to reach their maximum potential.
  • Ensure documentation, review and compile assuring audit readiness at all times.
  • Adhere to equipment ATP testing, data interpretation and corrective action as needed.
  • Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with our best practices, policies, procedures and applicable laws.
