Job Summary
The Sanitation Technician has the primary responsibility for the daily cleaning and sanitation of the facilities to assure that all the buildings, equipment and utensils are ready to be used during production shifts and comply with our quality systems standards, SSOPs, as well as FDA, customer, and other regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Able to clean two or more zones on each line effectively.
  • Completes cleaning in trained zone within 3-4 hours.
  • Able to clean trained zones with no supervision.
  • Ability to complete and sign-off on all SSOPs associated with trained zones.
  • Licensed, proficient fork truck operator.
  • Licensed, proficient scissor lift operator
  • Proficient in GMP’s and be attentive of potential GMPs violations across the production floor and reporting them to the sanitation foreman.
  • Regular Attendance
  • Responsible for cross-department job-sharing in areas such as: production; quality; warehouse, tank-yard; and rework.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • With good reasoning and sound judgment abilities.

  • Pay attention to detail.
  • Excellent work ethic with proven ability to effectively balance multiple priorities.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and an orientation towards fulfill the tasks in a timely manner.
