About the Role Our Sanitation Technicians play a critical role in keeping our production facility safe, compliant, and ready for the next shift. This position works between production shifts, ensuring all food and non-food contact surfaces are cleaned and sanitized efficiently within tight turnaround times. This is a hands-on, physically active role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do Clean and sanitize production equipment and surfaces daily Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure food safety standards are met Follow detailed sanitation schedules and document completion Maintain inventory of cleaning chemicals and sanitation supplies Assist in overall plant and warehouse cleanliness Lift and move hoses, equipment, and chemical containers (20–50 lbs) Work in wet/humid conditions while wearing protective gear Report any food safety, quality, or safety concerns immediately Requirements What We’re Looking For Required: Night & overnight shift availability Ability to work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts (including weekends) Comfortable standing, lifting, crouching, and working in a physical environment Reliable transportation to Erie, PA Preferred: 1–2 years sanitation experience in food manufacturing Familiarity with USDA, state, and customer sanitation requirements High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured schedules What You Get: Competitive Hourly Rate (based on experience) Signing bonus + referral bonuses 401(k) with match Health, dental & vision insurance PTO & retirement benefits Fast-paced.
